My Why
The reason I started Beautiful You Coaching is because I want to see you step into who you were created to be.
I want to see you walking in freedom! No matter what your life story is, I believe that we serve a Big God who is ready & willing to meet you in these dark places and heal all the broken pieces.
At the age of 19, I lost my mom to suicide. She battled with her past so much, that it robbed her of the simplest joys in life. She is my inspiration to empower women to Live in Freedom and Purpose! I don’t want anyone else to feel hopeless because they’re chained to their past! If you feel stuck and unable to break free from the pains of the past, then you are in the right place!
My Story
My whole life, I have been fighting deep insecurities!
I truly do not need anyone else in my life to tell me when I have done wrong – I can beat myself up pretty darn good all on my own.
Along my journey of self-discovery, I explored my past story, to see where God was during the abuse, rejection, abandonment, child loss, grief, depression, anxiety, and multiple health issues.
Honestly, I have been on this journey for years. The day my healing journey began, was the day I fell to my knees in my dining room in 2001 threw my hands up to the Father and asked Him to take over. I wanted to stop running and just be the best mom I could be for my daughter. Whatever He wanted to do with my life I was giving Him full control.
Thankfully, I have been blessed to have a great community of people that have come in and out of my life in so many powerful and life changing ways. Its community my friends, where you will find the healing and freedom that you desire.
In 2001, I started exploring where my life was at ‘at’ that moment, and God opened my eyes to the things He wanted me to work on. Then we got to Work! I have received many layers of healing, but to be honest I am still on this journey with you – and I believe that together is the best way to find the strength and healing we all desire.
What Makes Me Qualified to be Your Coach?
I have a PHD in Life Theology that is what I tell my kids, before I tell them I’m a High School dropout. I moved out of my family home at the age of 15, it was time to work and pay the bills – school wasn’t a priority for me at the time, survival was!
Since then, I have dedicated myself to be a Lifelong learner. I have gone on to study with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Christian Coaching School and Joel & Natalie of Transformation Services. Where I earned my Certification as Christian Life Coach, Integrative Nutritional Health Coach and a Life Story Coach.
I have also gone on to study and be mentored by some of the greats like Lisa Bevere, Dr. Henry W. Wright, Beth Moore, Joyce Myer, Lysa Terkeurst, Maria Forleo, Amy Portifield, Sara Anna Powers, James Wedmore, Jenna Kutcher and so many others.
