Find Support on Your Self Coaching Journey
Self coaching can feel like a solitary practice, but it certainly does not have to be.
You might think that because you aren’t partnering with a life coach or success coach or some other kind of coach, that you’re all alone in your personal work to make your life better and live the way that you want.
This is not so at all. There are so many wonderful people, experts who can teach you things, friends waiting to offer support, people who have been there and who can help you get where you want to go.
The internet makes it happen.
To find support, you may have to look in some different places than you may be used to. What do we mean by this? Well, let’s think of your family. Are they supportive of your goals and dreams?
Find Your Tribe
Family may not see eye to eye with us on priorities. That may seem daunting, but it’s typical. It’s okay if your family does not understand the importance of where you hope to head with your life.
In fact, telling too much to our family can actually be limiting because maybe your family has become something of a wet blanket for your aspirations.
So if you can find some other people to become your alternative family, your tribe if you will, you will be in a better place of support to help you make needed changes and take your life to the next level.
Again, if you are opting to coach yourself to a better way of living and relating and working, then you may wonder where to go and who to turn to.
Start by thoroughly researching one area of interest that you want to pursue in your life. Find an expert who is great at doing something that you would love to also master. Begin to follow along with that person.
Chances are, there is an affordable version of what they offer. You might be able to join a network that they also belong to or that they actually lead.
You might try their self-coaching materials such as ebooks, classes, workshops and such. All of this is very manageable and won’t take a huge hit to your pocketbook. So find someone you can admire and learn from.

Join a Network of Like-Minded Individuals
One of the most affordable and effective ways to stay focused on your goals is to find people who share the same goals as you do. Seek out people who share the same priorities.
These may be folks who want to learn the same things as you do, or maybe they’re on a similar track and have made some progress… so they can teach you what they know.
Most people who are on a similar journey as you are will be fairly excited and eager to share information with you as well as offer encouragement and support.
This is something we are blessed with in the internet age that is readily available. All you have to do is seek them out and start participating.
In fact, wonderful friends can be made this way who share your zest for living and wish to make improvements, right inside our Beautiful You Coaching app.
